Yes – the crucial factor is how you secure your dishes in the motorhome. While a simple non-slip mat only dampens movement, active fixation ensures that plates, glasses, and bowls remain securely in place even during emergency braking.

In combination with the Flexigel Placemat and the appropriate MagUp Pads (e.g., size L for plates, size M for glasses and bowls), a reliable connection is created. The adhesive base with integrated metal inlay, the anti-slip surface, and the magnetic counterpart work together to effectively secure your dishes while driving.

This keeps everything quiet – no rattling, no slipping, even on bends or uneven roads.

Nevertheless, we recommend storing your dishes in closed cabinets while driving.

Ideal for anyone who wants to safely use their existing dishes in a caravan – without having to switch to special camping crockery.

When driving around bends or on uneven roads, lateral forces can quickly cause crockery in the camper to slide around. Traditional solutions like inserts or holders often reach their limits here.

With active magnetic fixation using MagUp pads, crockery is held directly to the surface. This prevents it from moving freely – neither sideways nor upwards. Everything stays securely in place, even over potholes or during sudden evasive maneuvers.

This not only reduces breakage but also prevents annoying noises while driving. No more rattling in the motorhome.

Reliable fastening must do significantly more than just create friction. It is crucial that it controls both vertical forces (lifting) and horizontal forces (sliding).

When driving a motorhome, these forces act simultaneously – especially when braking or cornering. Therefore, a combination of an adhesive surface and additional fastening is the most effective solution.

This ensures that your dishes in the caravan are reliably secured even under real driving conditions.

Anti-slip mats are a good base, but usually not enough on their own to truly secure dishes while driving. They reduce movement but do not prevent slipping under heavy loads.

Especially during emergency braking or sharp turns, dishes can slip or tip over despite the mat.

For maximum safety, additional securing is therefore recommended, which actively holds your dishes in place. This way, you combine everyday comfort with real safety while driving.

Yes – rattling always occurs when dishes can move freely. As soon as plates or glasses are secured, this problem virtually disappears.

A firm connection between crockery and its base, such as with our MagUp-Pads, keeps everything quiet – even on rough roads. Additionally, soft interlayers can provide even more noise dampening.

The result: significantly more driving comfort and a tidy feeling throughout the motorhome.
