How the MagUps came about

The idea for the MagUp pads came from my own experience: None of the existing magnetic glass designs really convinced me – and many campers I spoke to felt the same way. Furthermore, it was clear to me that no one should have to throw away their existing dishes just to switch to a magnetic system.

Together with my managing director and technical developer Volker, we therefore developed the MagUp adapter – a clever solution that you can easily stick to the underside of your existing dishes: glasses, plates, bowls – whatever you like. This makes everything permanently magnetic and keeps it securely in place – whether driving or on the high seas.

And if a plate breaks? No problem! You simply go to IKEA or your favorite retailer and get exactly what you want. "Be as free in your choice as you are with your next parking space" – that's what I always say.

  1. Maß nehmen & Fläche reinigen (glatt & fettfrei).
  2. Pad zuschneiden entlang der Rillen für die perfekte Passform.
  3. Schutzfolie abziehen – Kontaktfläche sauber halten.

Halten MagUp-Pads auch während der Fahrt?

Ja, dein Geschirr bleibt sicher stehen. Bei Vollbremsungen oder starkem Seegang kann die Haftkraft eingeschränkt sein.

Wie reinige ich die Pads?

Einfach per Hand mit klarem Wasser abspülen, lufttrocknen lassen – so bleibt die Haftung erhalten. Keine Spülmaschine, keine Bürsten/Scheuermittel.

Mit welchen Oberflächen funktionieren sie?

Auf glatten, sauberen Flächen. Nano-Gel-Produkte haften ohne Kleber; Metall-Lösungen bieten maximalen, dauerhaften Halt mit 3M VHB™ Kleberückseite.

Gibt es Größenempfehlungen?

MagUp-Pad M: Bodenmaß 4,0–10,0 cm. MagUp-Pad L: Bodenmaß 6,0–14,0 cm. Vorher Unterseite ausmessen und passend zuschneiden.

Beeinflussen Magnete elektronische Geräte oder Karten?

Halte zu Handys, Festplatten oder EC-Karten mindestens 1 m Abstand.

Ist das für Kinder geeignet?

Nein, wegen Verschluckungs-/Verletzungsgefahr – Kleinteile nicht in Kinderhände.

Über Kopf nutzen?
